Ask For Help

Ask For Help

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you are well and fully embracing the changes and growth that come with the Spring season. It seems to be all around us right now- in so many different forms.

Today's entry will be short, but it is important. It's all about asking for help and actually accepting it when it is given. For some of us, including myself, this can be really, really difficult. We feel weak or a lack of independence when there is help needed and I often wonder why. The notion of "it takes a village" is so far from our everyday thinking. When did this change happen?

We, as a collective group, are always stronger and better when we work together to support each other. Amazing things can happen when you ask for help! Lately, I have realized that there is a sense of relief when I know that I am not alone and that I don't have to take it all on. No matter what the situation is, someone out has gone through it and is almost always more than happy to share what has worked (and not worked) for them.

I have recently had so much support from other people, mainly women in my industry, that have reached their hand out to help get my physical practice up and running. They truly want to see me succeed and have been a tremendous sounding board for me. I am so humbled and grateful for this guidance.

"Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it."
-Ziad K. Abdelnour

Ask for help. Be there to help someone else. Know that help is there if you need it. Most importantly, welcome it with open arms, when it comes your way.

As always, thank you for reading.
With Gratitude-
