A Bit of Magic

Happy Wednesday!

I hope you had a fantastic week. I had a few people reach out to say that they missed my blog post last week, and that warms my heart. I was busy working on the website and new products, so I apologize for skipping it. I am back though!!

So this weekend is Halloween and a full moon. It is also considered a "blue moon" because it is the second full moon in the month of October. We won't see a full moon on Halloween again until 2039 and we won't discuss how old I will be when that happens!! It feels a bit magical to me and we could all use a bit of magic these days, right?! Phew!! Although trick-or-treating may look a bit different this year, I do hope that all of you enjoy it- whatever you do!

A Bit of Magic is Finally Here!
After lots of testing, research, time, energy and love, I am finally launching two new products. You are the first ones to hear all about it!

The first is Uplift Nourishing Face Serum. It is orange in color and so fitting for our upcoming Halloween weekend! Aside from it's brilliant color, it is chock full of nutrients. Some of the key ingredients are Sea Buckthorn to heal, Palo Santo to encourage new skin cell production, and Oil of Egg from eggs that are free range and harvested once a year on the first full moon after the Spring Equinox.(That sounds awfully magical, right??) Oil of Egg has the ability to accelerate healing and improve the skins ability to protect itself.

Also, some incredible essential oils are included, such as Clary Sage and Frankincense, for their anti-inflammatory properties. This serum can be used on most skin types that want to support youthful, glowing skin, but it is especially beneficial to aging skin.

The other serum that I am over the moon about (Did you catch that "moon" reference again? I know, I know- I need to get it together!) is Illuminate Vitamin C Serum.  This is a serum that I have wanted to add to my collection for quite some time. Vitamin C is one of those incredible ingredients that almost every skin type can benefit from. However, not all serums containing this ingredient are created equally. There are so many variables that go into making it an effective product- from the bottle color, to the way it is dispensed (if you need to open and close the top then it loses its potency), to the type of Vitamin C used and the percentage! So, you may be wasting your time, and money, applying something that is literally doing nothing for your skin's health.

I have taken all of this into consideration to give you a powerhouse product that will be worth the investment. First- it comes in a glass bottle that is amber in color. Using a darker bottle will protect it from sun exposure which can cause the Vitamin C to break down faster. Second- it has a pump to dispense it so there is less of a chance of it oxidizing. Third- it has 10% of Tetrahexydecyl Ascorbate ....try and say that one three times fast! This is a fairly new form of Vitamin C and is highly effective in eliminating age spots/hyper-pigmentation and stimulating collagen production.

Other fabulous ingredients that are in this serum to help firm, heal, nourish, and hydrate the skin are Aloe Vera Juice, Pomegranate Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Goji and Watermelon. Illuminate is again meant for most skin types, but it is especially fantastic for anyone looking for a more radiant and even complexion.

Both of these serums are available to pre-order today, but will not ship or be ready for pick up until.....yes, you guessed it- Halloween! Please reach out to me with any questions you might have related to these two new products.

I bet you can't guess what today's quote will be about :)

"Hope can be a powerful force.
Maybe there's no actual magic in it,
but when you know what you hope for most and hold it like a light within you,
you can make things happen, almost like magic"
-Liani Taylor

As always, thank you for reading.

With so much gratitude-
